In Detail:
For all UK mainland orders over £300 delivery is FREE except for the following postcodes: *AB, IV, PH, KW, PA, PO (non-mainland), BT. These postcodes have an additional £30 surcharge.
All non mainland UK and UK Isles** have an additional shipping charge of £40.
All extra charges will need to be included at the checkout stage, so please check if extra charges apply.
Anticipated Delivery Time
We endeavour to ensure that all orders are despatched within the times stated on the individual product information pages. Some items may be despatched sooner due to stock availability. If an item is not available within the anticipated delivery time then we will contact you as soon as possible to advise. We will try to deliver all items together in one shipment. If you are ordering multiple items please use the longest anticipated time as the estimated delivery date. If you want to delay delivery eg: you are decorating a room or due to a holiday, then please contact us as this can usually be arranged, free of charge.
We use three methods of carriage so please read the following before ordering as this will ensure a smooth delivery process.
One and Two Man Carriers
Our carriers provide a professional and reliable service and deliveries are booked within a 2-3 hour time slot on a particular day, so that you can make neccessary arrangements in advance. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a delivery time slot service for all non mainland UK** deliveries and those postcodes* as detailed above.
Furniture is delivered by one or two man delivery team and will be delivered directly to a room of your choice; however the carriers will not unwrap or assemble any items. Items will generally be delivered via a large 7.5 tonne vehicle or lorry, so please check that your property is accessible for this size of truck via the road. If your road is narrow or has access problems please advise us by email as delivery may require some customer assistance.
One Man Carrier
This service is used generally for larger or multiple items, although smaller items are sometimes sent by this method. Once your item(s) is received by our delivery company, the carrier will telephone you in advance to book the delivery. You will be given the exact day/date and a 2-3 hour time slot. The day offered for delivery will be in co-ordination with the delivery schedule of the carrier and their route plans for your postcode area. Heavy items may need assistance and if this is the case and you cannot provide this, then you may decide that a two man delivery is required. Please see below for details on how to arrange a two man delivery.
Our delivery company cover different postcodes on different days of the week and do not deliver to all postcodes on every day. For example, the carriers scheduled route might be that they deliver to WR and GL postcodes on Wednesdays or Fridays. This will commonly be the same set route every week, therefore you would need to make arrangements to be available to accept delivery on whatever day that the carrier is in your area .They will always call you to discuss this before the delivery so you can make necessary arrangements. If you are not available on the first suggested date our carriers will happily offer delivery the following week etc. Please accept our apologies if the carriers’ route is not on the most suitable day for you, however the days that the carriers offer for delivery will be in line with their own pre-scheduled timetables.
In certain remote areas of the UK our carrier may only operate a single day per week for that area.
Two Man Carrier
Most deliveries are by one man delivery. Our delivery company deliver thousands of products by one man delivery every year. If however you require a two man delivery we can offer this at an extra charge of £25. Please contact us on 0845 259 3239 so that we can arrange this for you.
Please note that if a carrier arranges a timed delivery directly with you then we cannot accept liability for any losses or inconvenience caused for delivery failures due to unforeseen circumstances. Please read our terms.
Parcel Carrier
This service is usually for single and smaller items under 25kg; however on occasions individual larger items may be sent via this delivery method. We will email when the item is available for despatch and explain the process and provide full tracking details. The item will be with you within 48 hours of despatch.
Please note our parcel carrier will not telephone ahead to book the delivery. If you are not in when they arrive they will leave a card with their contact telephone number for you to call and arrange a convenient date for redelivery. This card must be responded to within 48 hours to avoid the item being returned to us and an extra delivery charge of £30 for re-delivery from our warehouse. Unfortunately our carriers cannot offer Saturday or timed deliveries as this is a one man door-to-door service. Assistance may be required in lifting the item from the vehicle.
