Kudos Darkwood Furniture

Kudos contemporary darkwood range is crafted from solid ash (Latin name Fraxinus), which is a tough, durable and highly attractive hardwood. Ash is similar to oak in its qualities in that it is tough and very strong. In order to ensure furniture of the highest quality the timber is properly seasoned and kiln dried to minimise cracking and splitting. Once the timber is fully prepared, it is carefully built t by craftsman, who have spent many years perfecting their carpentry skills. The final stage is finishing. This involves staining the piece to bring out the grain detail, and then hand polishing with a satin lacquer, which results in a wonderful patina and durable finish. Design detail is added with lightly antiqued iron handles and knobs. The result is beautiful furniture designed to last a lifetime.
