The service that we offer to our customer is a one man carrier delivery service which is a partially timed service, where the drivers can give you an indication of the approximate time they will be with you.  You will be told what exact day they will be arriving.  The person accepting the delivery is sometimes asked to assist with the unloading of larger items.  The delivery will be to just inside your home/front door.

We aim to despatch your order within the times stated on the product information pages.  Some item will be dispatched sooner due to stock availability. If the item is not available for despatch within the quoted dates we will contact you as soon as possible after the sale. *NB* We always attempt to delivery items together in one shipment to you.  If you are ordering multiple items please use the longest delivery time as the one for when your items will be delivered to you.
 


We use 2 different methods of carriage so please could we ask you to make note of the following before ordering. This will ensure a smooth order process.  We will always email you near the delivery time giving you full details of this and explaining the delivery method:


Method 1

One Man carrier

This service is used generally for Larger or Multiple items.
Once your item (s) is received by the carrier, the carrier will telephone you in advance to book the delivery (This is why we will always ask for your telephone numbers upon payment, just in case this method is used.)  The day offered for delivery will be in co-ordination with the delivery schedule of the carrier and their route plans that place them in your postcode area. Heavy items may need assistance.
 
Example:- The carriers scheduled route might be that they deliver to the WR and GL postcodes on Wednesdays or Fridays only. This will commonly be the same set route every week, therefore you would need to make arrangements to be available to accept delivery on the day that the carrier is in your area (they will always call you to discuss this before the delivery so you can make the arrangements). If you are not available on the first suggested date our carriers will happily offer the delivery for the following week etc. Please accept our apologies if the carriers’ route is not on the most suitable day for you, however the days that the carriers offer for delivery will be in line with their own pre-scheduled timetables.


In certain remote areas of the UK our carrier may only operate a single day per week for that area.
Please take this information into account before purchasing our furniture. Once the items are despatched from our warehouses to the courier the costs involved with return will be placed with the customer.
These items will be delivered by one delivery team and delivered directly to a room of your choice; the carriers will not unwrap or assemble any items.  The items will generally be delivered via a Luton vehicle or lorry so please be sure your property is accessible for this size of truck via the road. Some heavy items may need assistance from the customer to help carry into your home. 



Method 2

Parcel carrier

This service is usually for single and smaller items under 25kg; however on occasions individual larger items may be sent via this delivery method. Again we will email on despatch when the item has been collected by the carriers explaining this process and providing full tracking details. The item will be with you within 48 hours of despatch if using this method of delivery.

Please note our parcel carrier will not telephone ahead to book the delivery.  If you are not in when they arrive they will leave a card with their contact telephone number for you to call and arrange a convenient date for redelivery. This card must be responded to within 48 hours to avoid the item being returned to us and creating an extra delivery charge of £30 for re-delivery from our warehouse. Please be aware that our carriers cannot offer any Saturday or timed drops and this will be a one man door-to-door service, assistance will most likely be required with lifting the item from the vehicle.   



Please note:  If the carriers arranges a timed delivery with you directly then please be aware we have advised to decline this ourselves and this is not part of our agreed terms and we cannot accept liability for any losses or inconvenience caused for delivery failures to unforeseen circumstances.

Collections

If you would prefer to collect your item from our warehouse in Haydock, unlike some other companies, this is not a problem for us!  Just contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time and we will meet you and help you load the item into your vehicle.  Please note this collection service needs to be arranged in advance with us on a mutually convenient time.  After you have purchased and processed your payment, please email us and we will make a note to contact you once the item has been delivered to our warehouse.  The shipping times on the advert will be the time it will be in stock.

Please make sure your vehicle is big enough to take the furniture; all the dimensions are shown on our product pages - remember that the furniture will also have plenty of packing when accounting for the space required!  If you have bought a dining table and chairs, please be aware that some of the dining chairs are pre-assembled, some need assembly, but the table is delivered with the legs separate (just require fitting when at your premises).

There is no charge for collections
